The story
DC parametric and CV-IV measurements are the bedrock of device characterization. The challenge is signal integrity at the floor — low-level leakage and stable capacitance reads on devices that fight noise on every contact.
A CheckMate or S-1160 station with TRX triaxial probe holders gets you to roughly ±2 fA in a shielded environment; SCA coaxial probes handle low-level signals below 10 fA. Add the PSDB dark box for light-sensitive measurements.
Signatone stations interface directly with the Keysight B1500 / B1505 family, Keithley parameter analyzers, and legacy HP / Agilent instrumentation.
Operating envelope
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Low noise | ~±2 fA (TRX holder + triaxial chuck, shielded) |
| Low-level signal | < 10 fA (SCA coaxial probes) |
| Dark measurement | PSDB dark box |
